The ShowUp.com web site is provided as a public service for
dissemination of information about the arts in the Greater Phoenix
community. Its related site, ShowUpTickets.com sells discount
vouchers which may be redeemed for admission tickets to specified
events or activities. ShowUp.com and ShowUpTickets.com (collectively
ShowUp.com) are projects of Alliance for Audience.
ShowUp.com respects your privacy, and will strive to protect the
privacy of our users as set forth in this Policy. In general, ShowUp.com
may receive "personal information" about users, and "posting information"
which is information other than personal information and provided for
dissemination on or through the ShowUp.com web site or organization services.
Examples of "personal information" include a person's name, address,
telephone number, email address and the like. ShowUp.com also works with
external vendors to process ticket sales and other electronic commerce
transactions. ShowUp.com may therefore receive "financial information"
including credit card numbers and the like from users that choose to participate
in such transactions.
All personal and posting information is provided voluntarily for
use by ShowUp.com in any manner that it deems, in its sole discretion,
to be within the confines of this Privacy Policy. Receipt by ShowUp.com
of any information or material from a user does not constitute a commitment
by ShowUp.com to use or maintain the information in any fashion, except as
set forth herein. Users are responsible for the accuracy of all information
provided to ShowUp.com.
All information which is submitted to ShowUp.com will be subject to the

Registration: ShowUp.com currently requires registration and/or
form submissions for use of the following services:

ShowUp.com registration forms require users to submit certain personal
contact information (such as name and email address). Such personal
information is only used (a) to distribute to the registrant information he
or she has requested, or (b) to contact a user in relation to his or her
account or submission. Reasons for contacting users include problems with
the account or submission, changes to our site which require action on the
user's part, or informing a user of additional services specifically related
to the services for which the user has already registered. If you do not
wish to provide us with any personal information, you may still access and
use much of the site; however you will not be able to access and use those
portions of the site that require you to provide your contact information.
Users may, at any time, unsubscribe from our mailing list, delete an
account, or request that an event, job, or audition they have submitted
be removed from the site.
Information Collected: Statistical information regarding user
traffic is collected by our web host and provided to ShowUp.com. The
statistical information is both used for internal purposes and reported
to sponsors and other strategic and potential affiliates. Sponsors receive
only information on an aggregate, rather than an individual, basis. A user's
individual email address and other personal information will never be
disclosed to any third party, unless we have received the user's explicit
permission to do so.
ShowUp.com uses any information voluntarily given by our users to enhance
their experience in our site, whether to provide interactive or personalized
elements on the site or to better prepare future content based on the interests
of our users. We use tracking information to determine which areas of our site
are most (and least) popular based on traffic to those areas. ShowUp.com does
not track what individual users read, but rather how well each page performs
overall. This helps us continue to build a better service for our users.
ShowUp.com may, at any time, delete information received from users
from the ShowUp.com™ site without notice.
Third Party Advertising and Content: ShowUp.com provides numerous
links to web sites for arts organizations, performance venues, and ticket
sellers, among others. If you choose to use the services provided by one
of the linked sites, you may be asked by that site to provide certain personal
information. Some of this information may, on an individual or aggregated basis,
be shared with us. Any personal information will be kept under our privacy policy.
Please be aware that ShowUp.com is not responsible for the privacy practices or
the content of other websites, even if our name or logo appears on those sites.
We encourage you to be aware of when you leave our site and to read the privacy
policy statements of each and every website you visit, especially before submitting
private information, as the privacy policy of those sites may differ substantially
from our own. Our Privacy Policy applies solely to ShowUp.com.
Financial Information: Online merchandise and most ticket purchases
for items and/or events featured on ShowUp.com are processed and/or fulfilled
by one or more independent third-party vendors. Please review each third-party
vendor's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service related to the services they
provide. ShowUp.com is not responsible for the content and/or fulfillment of
purchases made on any third-party website.
In some cases (e.g. the online sale of discount tickets), electronic
transactions may be administered by ShowUp.com at the separate website
ShowUpTickets.com or elsewhere. Credit card information in such cases
is passed through our website via a secure connection (SSL) to a Gateway
and then to a Merchant Account for processing the credit card purchase.
Alliance for Audience and its website development firm do not save this
credit card information, and do not have direct access to this information.
To the extent that we do come into contact with users' financial information,
we will take appropriate measures to safeguard such information from public
disclosure and to comply with all applicable laws relating to electronic
transactions, and to require that our contractors do the same.
Cookies: A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to
your browser from a Web server and stored on your computer's hard drive.
We use cookies in connection with certain of our services, for example,
our ArtistProfile service. Cookies may store a user's name and password,
sparing the user from having to re-enter that information each time he
or she visits. Additionally, our sponsors may use cookies to help target
their messages based on user behavior. Users may choose to set their web
browser to block cookies.

Tell-A-Friend Email Form: ShowUp.com offers users the ability to email
page links and personal messages from our site to friends or family.

any way, and are not added to our mailing list or provided to any third
party. This function is not intended to allow a user to "spam" or
otherwise send email to any individual with whom he or she does not have

Surveys and Polls: ShowUp.com may occasionally ask both registered
and non-registered users to participate in online surveys. These surveys are
strictly voluntary, and are not a condition to use of any portion of our
website. Our online surveys may ask users their opinions or for demographic
information (such as zip code, age, or income level). This information will be
used for ShowUp.com' internal purposes and may be shared with advertisers on
an aggregate basis only. We may ask for contact information if we are providing
an incentive to users for completing our surveys. The contact information is
kept private and only used to contact you if necessary. For example, contact
information is used to contact a user if he or she is a winner in one of our
contests. Survey respondents' individual contact information will not be

Graphics and Photos: ShowUp.com provides users the opportunity to
upload or email images to ShowUp.com for posting in connection with an event;
listings for organizations, venues, or schools; or an ArtistProfile. Users are
strictly prohibited from uploading any image in violation of any domestic or
international copyright law. By uploading, or otherwise emailing, an image
to ShowUp.com for posting on ShowUp.com.com, user represents that the material
does not infringe any proprietary or intellectual property rights of any third
party, and that user has the authority to grant, and does hereby grant, to
ShowUp.com a paid-up, royalty-free, nonterminable license to use, display, copy
and transfer the image for and in connection with the ShowUp.com site, and the
promotion of the event, organization, venue, school listing, or ArtistProfile
described by user in the submission form or email. ShowUp.com reserves the right
to exclude information, images, or graphical content that it determines, in its
discretion, to be inappropriate for posting or use for any reason.
Public Forums: This website makes chat rooms, forums, message boards,
and/or news groups available to our users. Some of these forums require
registration, but are not monitored on a regular basis by ShowUp.com. Please
remember that these are public areas, and any information that is disclosed
in these areas becomes public information. You should use caution when deciding

in which participants may be under the age of 18, ShowUp.com does not knowingly

permitted by law. Those under 18 wishing to register their biographical information
and headshot through our ArtistProfile service must receive their parent's permission
and that parent must contact ShowUp.com in writing confirming such permission to the
